Choir
Winter Concert
The choir sang at Warwick Hall on the Warwick School site with children from Bishops Itchington Primary School, Kineton CE Primary School, Priors Field Primary School and Wilmcote CE Primary School. They also sang with the Choral Society, the Senior Chamber Choir, members of Ex Cathedra and the Choir of St. Mary.
In total, over 400 performers were on stage and the quality of the signing was amazing. We are currently working with Richard Nicholson and his team at King’s High School on the ‘Warwick as a Singing Town’ project. The future looks very bright for singing at Westgate.
Following the choir’s wonderful performance at Warwick Hall, Alex Laing, Director of Music at King’s High School, sent the following message through.
Dear Mr. Watson
It has been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to work with your lovely children. They engaged so well and I am thrilled that more children want to join your choir. I am hopeful that there will be more opportunities to work together in the near future.

Warwick as a Singing Town
The choir was joined by Rebecca Ledgard from Ex-Cathedra and Alex Laing from Kings’ High to work on vocal exercises and singing ahead of their performance at Warwick School Hall. As you can see from the photographs, there was a lot of energy and enjoyment and the children had a wonderful time again.
