Christmas Lunch

Thank you to Emma and her wonderful lunchtime team for a fantastic Christmas lunch. The children (and staff) enjoyed their mouth-watering meal. We are very lucky to have a team who want to make Christmas so special for the children at Westgate. 

Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Emma and her team pulled out all of the stops for the Teddy Bear’s Picnic. We loved their outfits and the effort that they went to in order to make it a special lunch time for the children. There was bunting on the playground, mats for the children to sit on and of course all of their teddy bears. Our ministerial visitor was surprised to find so much going on, as he passed Reception children in fancy dress pirate outfits and virtually every child carrying a teddy bear into school. He commented that “it is very exciting here. The children are lucky to have so many opportunities”.
