Matt Western MP visits Westgate Primary School

We were visited by Matt Western, our local Member of Parliament. who met with the a very keen group of school journalists to discuss democracy and answer questions about our parliament. This all fits with our work on Fundamental British Values.

Ben, Poppy, Anmol, Leonard, Alyah and Anabelle asked Matt questions about being an MP and about democracy in this county. They were great ambassadors for Westgate and, who knows, we have may have some budding politicians of the future!
