Westgate makes the pledge to inclusion
Westgate Primary School in Warwick are the latest school to make their pledge to inclusion.
The Warwickshire Schools' Inclusion Charter sets out what all children and young people and their families should expect from schools in Warwickshire, in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
The vision is for schools to be places where everyone The feels valued, included, safe, supported and welcome. This reflects the County Council's commitment to working together to enable all children and young people in Warwickshire to lead a fulfilling life and be part of their community.
The Charter was coproduced with Warwickshire schools, Warwickshire Parent Carer Voice, young people from IMPACT and Warwickshire County Council.
As part of the work to help Warwickshire schools become more inclusive, Warwickshire Parent Carer Voice is asking for parent carer views on how inclusive they feel their child's school is. You can share your views on the online form here.
